4 outdoor excursions in Andalucia

Hi guys, it's Wednesday and you know what that means? That it is time for a brand new blog post! Today I would like to suggest you some outdoor routes that you can do during the weekend, since the weather now is not too hot neither too cold, so we have to take advantage of that.

Here you can read below my list of favorite routes around Andalucia, I visited all of them and I can say that a visit it's worth it!

1) I would like to start with my favorite one, which is the Caminito del Rey: this route is located in the area named El  Chorro, in the county of Malaga. The landscape here is just breathtaking, since you will walk above a river and next to a wall of rocks. I wouldn't suggest this path if you are afraid of heights. Here you will have to book in advance the ticket because a lot of people are interested in this route and in order to find a free spot you should check in advance the availability. A general ticket costs 10€ but there are also guided tours for 18€.

2) Another favorite excursion of mine was the trip to Gibraltar, here you will have the chance to visit the city centre but also the Peñón, the mountain from which, if the weather is good, you could admire the coast of Africa! But look out for the monkeys! They always try to steal your food and they are very mischievous. And also always remember to have with you your passport or ID because in order to enter in Gibraltar you have to show it.

3) A good route for the nature lovers is the one of Los Cahorros, located near the city of Granada. The path begins from the urban centre of Monachil, you can go by car or from Granada you can take the bus of the company Liñán 183 from Paseo de los Basilios. This path offers magnificent views of the city of Granada and also of the small villages nearby.

4) My last recommendation for you is located in the county of Malaga and it is called Torcal de Antequera. Here you can admire the beautiful landscapes and there are a lot of paths that are free of costs and there are many levels of difficulty.

That was all for today, I hope you will try to go explore these beautiful places that Andalucia has to offer. Till next Wednesday guys!
