As you all know ECS organizes many many trips to everywhere, also to Lisboa. But sometimes it’s also nice to just go by yourself and organize it yourself. That’s what me and my friends did. To go there we got a blablacar of 30 euros and to come back a Flixbus of only 25 euros. When you want to organize a trip like this always check the sites of blablacar, flixubs, goeuro and maybe even skyscanner, just to see what would be the cheapest option. For our time in Lisboa we booked a Hostel, the 7 hills hostel, which I can really recommend. It is very clean, good location and cheap, we only paid 45 euros for three nights.
What to do in Lisboa?
There is so much to do and to see! Just by walking around through the city center you already see so many beautiful things, all the colored houses with the ceramic tiles. Or when you take the old-fashioned tram 28 that will take you through the entire city center you will see so much. And what you really cannot miss are the pasteis de nata, the best tarts in the entire world if you’d asked me. You can buy them basically everywhere and are the best. The pasteis come originally from Belem, you can visit this neighborhood by train. The train will only take around 20/30 minutes to get there and costs 5 euros for a retour ticket. You could also go to Sintra one day by train, there you can visit the beautiful palace on top of the hill.
The nightlife in Lisboa is also very moving. You can find most of the bars in Barrio Alto, as well as the “pink street”. But if you don’t feel like going out you can also go to one of the lookout points, where you can enjoy some beers or wine and look at the breathtaking views. And bar that I could really recommend is Noobai, a very nice cocktail bar with an amazing view all over the city.
All by all, just go there and check it out yourself!!!
