Trip to Cordoba

Hi guys, welcome to a new blog post! Today I would like to share with you some details about my trip to Cordoba for last weekend, so if you are interested or you are thinking about going there keep reading :)

Since Cordoba is not very far away from Sevilla I decided to spend with my friends a weekend in that beautiful city, even though I think that also in one day you will have to visit the main attraction.

Going to Cordoba is very easy, you can go with Alsa or you can take a Blablacar. I went with Alsa and it took two hours to arrive and also the ticket was not too expensive.

Me and my friends stayed in a nice hostel named Bed&be Hostel, the people working there were very nice and also the room was clean and confortable.

The guy that worked at the reception gave us many recommendations of places to visit and also bar and restaurants and we followed his advice and everything was perfect!

We went to eat in a place called El Pimentón, and of course we tried the typical dish called Flamenquín and it was delicious!

Then since the weather was not very nice we walked around the city centre and we saw the Mezquita, Calle de Las Flores and also the little streets that create a maze and so it is very easy to get lost.

We went to a "Teteria" since it was pretty cold and we tried some typical arabic sweets and tea in a very nice place.

The next day, luckily the weather was better and the sun shone, so we went to visit Palacio de Viana, which is a beautiful palace with a lot of patios and flowers. In the same area there are also a lot of patios of private houses that are worth visiting.

Then of course we went to eat something in a nice restaurant in a pretty square, and we eat sooo good! The name of the restaurant was "La Tinaja".

We decided then to go and visit the Mezquita, which is huge and so beautiful. It took us more or less one hour.

Nearby the Mezquita there is also the Sinagoga, which in my opinion is worth visiting even though it's pretty small.

Of course we also crossed the Roman bridge and we were lucky enough to visit Cordoba during a weekend when there was also a festival.

That was our weekend in Cordoba, we really enjoy this city and I hope that you will have a chance to visit it too!

Till next Wednesday guys
